Description
The EnVision 6" IC-Air Tight Housing is perfect for remodel installations in insulated ceilings. Its single-wall painted steel housing features a gasket for airtight insulation, preventing heated airflow diffusion. Designed for IC type installations, it can be placed directly on ceiling insulation. The single-wall formed aluminum construction and pre-installed AIR-TITE aperture gasket ensure easy installation in 2" x 6" joist construction. The housing includes four remodel clips for securing in 1/2" and 5/8" ceiling materials. This housing is compliant with Energy Star, California Title 24 (JA8), and the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) when used with designated EnVision LED modules.
