The Fire Rated 6" Housing with Title 24 Orange Quick Connect Socket is designed for maximum safety and efficiency. This airtight, IC-rated housing operates at 120-277V and includes a 0-10V model with purple and gray dimming wires. Ideal for general recessed lighting, residential and multifamily settings, offices, meeting rooms, education, healthcare, retail, and hospitality, this housing provides a 2-hour fire resistance to meet and exceed strict fire safety codes. It features integrated non-combustible insulation to minimize sound transfer between floors and is designed for ceiling plenums with 2x8 joists or taller. The high-strength hanger bars can easily be nailed to joists, making it suitable for t-grid and drop ceiling applications. Please refer to the installation instructions for more detailed information.
