Elco’s 6" IC Airtight New Construction 2-Hour Fire Rated Housing is cUL Listed for 2-hour fire resistance, meeting and exceeding strict fire safety codes. This housing features integrated non-combustible insulation that acts as a sound barrier, minimizing sound transfer between floors. It is double-wall IC rated for direct contact with insulation, suitable for both IC and non-IC conditions. Additionally, the airtight housing includes a gasket to restrict airflow in accordance with ASTM E-283 air-tight requirements.
