Description
Elco’s 4” IC Airtight New Construction 2-Hour Fire Rated Housing is cUL Listed for 2-hour fire resistance, meeting and exceeding structural fire safety codes. It features integrated non-combustible insulation that acts as a sound barrier to minimize sound transfer between floors. This housing is double-wall IC rated for direct contact with insulation, suitable for both IC and non-IC conditions, and includes an airtight gasket to restrict airflow per ASTM E-283 air-tight requirements. It also adjusts in the frame to accommodate ceiling thicknesses up to 1 1/2".
