Description
Elco’s 3” Fire Rated New Construction Housing is designed for insulated ceilings, featuring integrated non-combustible insulation to enhance acoustical protection and dampen sound transfer between floors. It includes a GU10 socket for both LED and traditional GU10 lamps. The double-wall IC rating allows for direct contact with insulation, making it suitable for IC and non-IC conditions. The airtight housing, equipped with a gasket, restricts airflow in compliance with ASTM E-283 air-tight requirements. Additionally, the housing adjusts within the frame to accommodate ceiling thicknesses up to 1 ½”.
